Can you help us we break the record this year?? This is an initiative that is very special for Dr. Cao, as similar programs helped his own family during his childhood. We hope that you will help us make this happen. Stop by our office Monday through Friday, starting on Monday, November 27h and donate a NEW UNWRAPPED TOY. We will collect until Friday, December 15th. 2023 WINTER COAT DRIVE at SSP :-)

Starting on Monday, November 21st stop at our office and drop off NEW socks or underwear. We will collect until December 16. Anything you can do for the Ali Forney Center helps give a new chance to one of their kids. We are hoping you can help us make a difference :-) THE MURAL JUSTICE PROJECT
SSP believes in equality and freedom of expression and is supporting the "Mural Justice Project'. In early July 2021 the two principals at PS295 and New Voices Middle School, with the support of Superintendent Anita Skop, ordered and enabled the destruction of a diversity-centered mural created by six P.S.295 fifth-grade students in partnership with Groundswell. The students, parents, and communities of PS295, New Voices Middle School, and all of District 15 in Brooklyn, NY, need your support to insist on justice after this incident of harm that is only one example of deep, far-reaching bias and systemic inequity in our schools. Join the celebration of Student Expression and School Equity on Friday, November 19th 2021 at 2PM - 18th street between 6th and 7th Avenue. For more information visit www.muraljusticeproject.org If you'd like , you can also make a donation HERE #LOVE IN A SAFETY PIN PROJECT
Our Company stands with Love, Equality, Kindness, Compassion and Community. These are the values in which your SSP Team believes. By showing this 'Love in a safety pin' sticker on our door we want you to know that SSP is a Safe Haven where you will find smiles and help in the (hopefully unlikely) event that you find yourself harassed or bullied on the streets of Park Slope. How you can help: 1) Donate ( https://www.gofundme.com/love-in-a-safety-pin) so we can keep producing and distributing stickers free of charge nationwide 2) Post on social media your photo with your sticker with hashtag #LoveInASafetyPin 3) Share this page with your friends and family :-) |
Building our Local Community
LOCAL SCHOOLS OUTREACH
Your SSP Team works with local schools and is involved in sponsoring programs and events that help the local community. From sponsoring chess tournaments to launching the SSP Healthy Cafe your SSP Team feels it is vital to help local schools achieving their goals. Please, join us in our journey by visiting the following school websites: OUR FREE CLASSES: BRINGING FAMILIES TOGETHER
The foundation of a community is its ability to create together by being together. Our free classes are designed to teach new skills to our parents but also to bring together a group of people that otherwise would have probably never met. We ask our attendees to share their numbers and emails and to make a friend while learning new essential parenting skills. Help us spread the word around and make a new friend today. Helping the Lew Family
Our hearts are broken for our SSP family who tragically lost their son Joshua on Monday, March 5th 2018 when a reckless driver ran a red light striking 4 people. The best way to help at this time is to send donations through their Go Fund Me page at https://www.gofundme.com/lauren-amp-charles-lew Thank you for your help. |
Our Charities and Partners
JONAH'S JUST BEGUN FOUNDATION
Dr. Cao and your SSP Team has been working with the Jonah's Just Begun Foundation for a number of years in the effort to raise funds and awareness about the Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare disease that affects Dr. Cao's little friend and patient Jonah. Dr. Cao was instrumental in helping diagnose Jonah with this rare condition when Jonah was just 1 year old. At that time there was very little research and no medication available. Jonah's mom, Jill Wood has taken this matter into her own hands ad with perseverance, courage, strength and some help she has been able to assemble a team of scientists to start research. The road is long but the goals are achievable. We need your help to help this family. Please DONATE if you can. " My best friend Jonah has a very rare disease called San Filippo Syndrome. Jonah is just like any other kid, but Jonah is fighting against time. Help US raise funds for a cure please. " - Dr. Cao SSP BUSINESS PARTNERS
