Dr. Hai Cao, MD - FAAP
Dr. Cao entered medicine with the objective of becoming a small town doctor who makes it his priority to spend time with his patients, and develop trusting relationships with their parents and families. This fantastic Brooklyn neighborhood has been the perfect setting to realize these hopes in Dr Cao's last 22 years of practice as a pediatrician in Park Slope.
Dr. Cao is passionate about tennis (yes, he can play) and fishing (mostly now with his daughter). Dr. Cao received his medical degree at Indiana University and completed his pediatric residency at NY Methodist Hospital-New York Presbyterian Cornell. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the section on Foster Care and Adoption. |
Dr. Kaeya Choksey, MD - FAAP
Dr. Kaeya Choksey grew up in Long Island, NY and went on to receive her medical degree from St George's University School of Medicine. While living in Brooklyn, she completed her clinical rotations and pediatric training at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. After residency, she worked at a Pediatric outpatient practice in NJ for two years before joining South Slope Pediatrics. She is bilingual in English and Gujarati.
Pediatrics was the perfect choice for her because she is passionate about creating long term bonds with her patients and their families. She is grateful that every day she is able to play a key role in ensuring a healthy future for her patients. She is excited to be a part of the SSP family and pursue her passion of providing excellent patient care. When she is not caring for her amazing patients and families, she enjoys traveling (she has already been to over 30 countries!), dancing, fitness and spending time with family and friends. |
Dr. Ravi Saksena, MD - FAAP
Dr. Saksena was born in New Jersey and after short stints in Bombay and Singapore, completed his childhood in Connecticut, not too far from NYC. He enjoys running, practicing yoga, traveling, meditating, reading, hiking, and badgering his mum to teach him indian home-cooking (it’s never as good as hers!).
Dr. Saksena completed his medical degree at the University of Rochester, and his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, followed by a 10 year stint as an attending at Maimonides Medical Center. He is excited to embark on the next stage of his career here and deepen both his practice and relationships within the SSP community. |
